GREENCODE in the past year continued its project in monitoring and tracking public expenditure. This project is an extension of European Union grant through Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), Abuja.
The project witness the following activities;
– Budget literacy education for 20 community people,
– Training of Trainers (TOT)
– Formation of Budget Monitoring Committee in 4 locations in CRS.
– Collating and Tracking of State Budget information.
– Public Policy Analysis etc.
A total of 10 Budget Monitoring committee members were trained and were drawn from
Nigerian Gender Budget Network, Associations of People with Disabilities, BMCs from
Calabar South, Akpabuyo, Akamkpa and Calabar Municipality and GREENCODE.
